There’s no avoiding the high expectations that come with any card given the NXT TakeOver branding, but any fan of professional wrestling would have a difficult time stating that the first night of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver on Wednesday was anything but incredible. The first of a two-night event, the card saw some of the best matches to have taken place in a wrestling ring this year with three outstanding championship bouts and high drama throughout.
